There are ten simple reasons why you should consider having bird as your pet. Here they are:

1. Birds are intelligent animals.
2. They are relatively easy to care for.
3. Birds are fairly simple to train.
4. They require minimal grooming.
5. Birds are extremely social creatures.
6. Birds are fairly inexpensive to feed.
7. They can be kept in a small space.
8. Birds are not considered "pets" at most rental properties.
9. Pet birds are attractive to look at.
10. They are long-lived companions.
